Dolores Wilson, the founding directress of the archdiocese’s Kennedy Institute serving people with developmental disabilities, received a lifetime achievement award during the mass at the March 27 conference. Presenting the award were Father William Byrne, the Secretary for the Archdiocese of Washington’s Secretariat for Pastoral Ministries and Social Concerns, and Archbishop Wuerl.
